Our journey began on May 5th, 2017, a day etched in our hearts as the start of something truly extraordinary. It all started with a simple swipe and a match on a dating app, setting the stage for a serendipitous encounter that would change our lives forever. Our first date unfolded in the vibrant setting of Huntington Beach, CA, on the auspicious day of Cinco de Mayo. Over plates of sushi, amidst laughter and shared stories, we felt an instant connection, a spark that ignited the flames of an enduring love.

From that moment on, our hearts intertwined, and our love story unfolded with each passing day. Nic, with his infectious charisma and vibrant spirit, captured Jon's heart, while Jon, with his determination and passionate soul, swept Nic off his feet. Together, we embarked on a journey of growth and discovery, supporting each other through life's twists and turns, and celebrating each other's triumphs with unwavering devotion.

Driven by our shared dreams and aspirations, we embarked on a new chapter of our lives, moving to Texas to pursue our respective passions. Nic delved into the world of therapy, driven by his innate empathy and desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Meanwhile, Jon pursued his dream of becoming a physician, inspired by his parents' journey and fueled by a passion for healing and compassion.

Our journey took a whimsical turn halfway through our studies when we embarked on a trip to Europe, a journey that would forever alter the course of our lives. Amidst the enchanting streets of Paris, the city of love, we exchanged surprise proposals, a testament to the synchronicity of our hearts and the depth of our connection. As we gazed into each other's eyes against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, we knew that our love was destined to withstand the test of time.

And now, as we stand on the brink of a new chapter, May of 2025 holds the promise of countless blessings and celebrations. It marks the culmination of years of hard work and dedication as Nic earns his masters in marriage & family therapy and Jon achieves his lifelong dream of becoming a physician. Above all, it symbolizes the beginning of a lifelong journey of love, laughter, and endless adventures as we exchange vows and embark on the beautiful journey of marriage on May 3rd, 2025.
